May 2-4, 2008: Oakville Quilters Guild:
"Legacy of Stitches II", at the O.E. Conference Centre, 2245 Speers Road, Oakville. Featuring over 80 quilted pieces in our new bright, comfortable exhibit space. Includes a Merchant's Mall, Members Boutique, Cafe, Quilting Demonstrations and Daily Door Prizes. Ample free parking.

May 3-4, 2008: Quinte Quilters Guild:
The Quinte Quilters Guild presents "A Bouquet of Quilts" quilt show at the Quinte Curling Club, 246 Bridge Street West, Belleville. Large and small bed quilts, wall art, clothing, merchants mall, silent auction, tea room.
Featured quilt artist: international award-winner Judy Garden, author of the quilting book "Dutch Treat", and winner of "Excellence for Bed Quilt" and "Excellence for Traditional Small Wallquilt" at Quilt Canada 2006.

May 9-10, 2008: Port Perry Patchers:
"Off the Bed - Off the Wall", Scugog Community Centre, 1655 Reach St., Port Perry. Fri 10am-6 pm, Sat 10am-4pm. Featuring antique quilts, unique challenges, vendors mall, silent auction, tea room, boutique, and featured Quilter Karin Boecker. Wheelchair accessible, free parking, buses welcome. Admission $5.
May 23-25, 2008: Kingston Heirloom Quilters:
Quilts Kingston at the Portsmouth Olympic Harbour,
Kingston. Featuring hundreds of quilts and wall hangings by the Kingston
Heirloom Quilters and the Limestone Quilters' Guild, an exhibit by Pamela
Allen, a display of National and International award winning quilts
including The Zodiac Quilt by Martha Brown from Ottawa, a display by Cataraqui
Guild of Needle Artists, Computer Design, a Quilters' Boutique, Merchants
Mall, and Door Prizes. Fri 12 noon-8pm, Sat 10am-6pm, Sun 11am-4pm.

June 6-7, 2008: Oshawa Senior Citizens Centre:
Quilt Show Caper - Oshawa Senior Citizens Centre is celebrating their 40th anniversary with a quilt show. It will feature quilts from past and present OSCC members and include a Boutique, Merchants, Tea Room, Scissor Sharpening and Door Prizes. Admission $2.00, free parking & wheelchair accessible. July 19, 2008: Meaford Hall & Culture Foundation
"Quilts in My Garden", presented as part of a summer-long celebration of the 100th anniversary of Meaford Hall. This garden quilt tour will feature 7 beautiful gardens, each displaying one of a kind quilts from our local guilds. On the tour is a stop at Meaford Hall, where there will be a catered lunch served and more quilts on display in the art gallery and a quilt raffle. Meaford Hall is located only steps from the breathtaking Meaford Harbour and Marina, showcasing Nottawasaga and Georgian Bay. Nov 7-9, 2008: York Heritage Quilters' Guild
"A Celebration of Quilts X". Our show is centrally located near the Don Valley Parkway and 401 in Toronto. Details and a map can be found on our website, www.yhqg.org/celebrationX. The show will feature a Merchant Mall, Tea Room, and Silent Auction (proceeds to be donated to Assaulted Women's Helpline), and lots of gorgeous quilts! Kindred Spaces 2008 Textiles Showcase:
September 12 - October 12, 2008
You are invited to create quilts & other two dimensional textile works to participate in this show that will celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the publication of Anne of Green Gables. Works in the theme of Kindred Spaces, with a maximum perimeter 120 inches are being accepted. Each work must be an interpretation based on a line, chapter, or paragraph of a Lucy Maud Montgomery writing. Your chosen quote from the writings must be included with your entry.
