Ottawa Valley Quilters' Guild Maureen Roach     The Ottawa Valley Quilters' Guild held their Quilts 2007: Celebrate! show from May 11th to 13th, 2007 and presented the OQC Rosette to Maureen Roach. Maureen's piece, "Gram, I'm Almost Finished", was an entry in the guild's spring challenge, the topic of which was "Mother". Maureen said, "I love being a grandmother. My granddaughter teaches me many things. This quilt was machine pieced, machine appliquéd and machine quilted. It was inspired by a photograph that I took of my granddaughter, Chantale."
