Erie Shores Quilt Guild Wendy Carmanico     The Erie Shores Quilt Guild held their "Flotilla of Quilts - Sail into Fall" show from Sept. 30th to Oct 1st, 2006 and presented the OQC Rosette to Wendy Carmanico. Wendy's piece, "Petals of My Heart" is a Pine Needles Design (by McKenna Ryan), which she worked totally in Batik fabrics done in raw-edge appliqué. It was machine quilted by Mary Tissen of Leamington, and won Viewer's Choice in the wall-hanging category.
