Ontario Quilting Connections Exists -

To Promote an appreciation of the art of quilting and the craftsmanship involved.

To Support and strengthen the craft and its practitioners through a province-wide network.

To Share knowledge, expertise and experience among guilds.

To Assist guild executives in effective, stimulating and creative guild management.

Stoney Creek Quilters' Guild will be hosting the Spring Interguild Meeting on April 26, 2008 10am - 3:30pm at The Church of Our Saviour Redeemer 25 Lake Avenue, Stoney Creek, Ontario. Join us for a day of sharing of ideas with other guilds in Ontario. Lunch will be provided by volunteers of the Stoney Creek Quilters' Guild. This is a great opportunity for executive members to network and learn about workshops, programs and problem solving ideas. Please contact Christine Nuttall - nuttall@porchlight.ca to register representatives from your guild before March 1st.

OQC will be at the Creativ Needlework Festival again this spring. Join us from April 25th - 27th, 2008 at the Toronto International Centre More Information is Available at www.creativfestival.ca

From Our President:

Ontario Quilting Connections exists to share resources and experience between quilt guilds within the province of Ontario. To facilitate this, we gather and distribute information from guilds, teachers and quilt shops that will be of interest to our member guilds and individuals.

Your ideas and suggestions for OQC and for this Web site are always welcome. We are constantly looking for more and better ways to provide information about upcoming guild events. We also encourage you to send information on your favourite quilting teachers, so that we can update our directory of Ontario teachers.

OQC is also actively seeking new volunteers to help us help you. Feel free to contact any member of the OQC Executive if you would like to join our team.
